However, her existence takes an unexpected turn when she discovers that her father has not abandoned her and has left her a considerable fortune.

To uncover the secret of her origins, Breen goes to Ireland with her best friend, Marco. This journey of discovery opens the door to a universe populated by dragons, fairies, and new people to love. In the land of his ancestors he relives the dreams he has hidden and remembers the voice of a stranger echoing in his head.

Will Breen have the courage to embrace her true power and follow the heart that guides her to a powerful and dangerous destiny?"

Opinion:

I had heard a lot about this writer, I even have two books that were given third hand (they are a little old), entitled "The Reef" and "Private Scandals", however I never had the curiosity to read them.

This book was a gift from Editora Saída de Emergência which I really appreciate this offer, because I simply loved the book! 😍

This book has a beautiful cover, which transmits two different sensations - the wooded part transmits me calm, new paths, contact with nature and the city part transmits me the stress and daily problems, when reading this book you will see that this wonderful cover makes perfect sense. The book has 416 pages, it is true that it took me 41 days to read it because I was not in my best days and the will to read was little, but as I went on the taste grew again!

I was not expecting this book to be so good at all! At first I didn't find it very captivating, but then the story is so well told, with very likable characters, fantastic places, and lots of fantasy. I was able to travel to Ireland. From the descriptions I felt like I was the one living it! It was fantastic! 🤩 I even remember that there was a night I dreamed about the landscapes described in the book 😂

Clearly this book needs a sequel! I am very curious, I want to know who will win.... Will it be the darkness or the light? 🤔

P.S: I hope it's the light that wins ✨
