Synopsis:

"Liv Varanakis doesn't like to think much about her father, which actually makes sense: he ran away to Greece when she was only 8, leaving her with painful memories of their shared interest in the lost city of Atlantis. So when she receives a postcard from her father, asking her to travel to Greece to meet him to help him with a project, Liv is less than thrilled.

When she arrives on the amazing island of Santorini, things are just as awkward and strange as she expected. There are so many unanswered questions, so many emotions that drown her as she sees her father for the first time after so many years.

Still, she can't help but be drawn to all that Santorini has to offer: the gorgeous sunsets, the turquoise water, the sunny villages, and the delicious cuisine. But not everything on this Greek island is as perfect as it seems.

Liv is about to discover that the reason her father invited her to embark on this adventure to Greece may not have been the documentary about Atlantis, but may be something far more important than she imagined.

Opinion:

Love and Santorini is a book in which I did not have much expectation (due to the previous book), but some curiosity.

This book keeps the same kind of cover as the previous ones, beautiful and simple, has 300 or so pages but is very fast to read because it is a very fluid and super interesting writing!

I loved the book, I have nothing negative to point out, the story is very cute, with many adventures, forgiveness, self-knowledge and it also deals with mental health which is a very important theme.

The main character since she was a child lives a great moment that traumatized her, the abandonment. in the book the character has many questions, and many doubts in which are answered at the end of the story, also describes some places in Santorini, at a certain point I had a déjà vu of a situation that occurred, it seems I had already seen or read that somewhere.

I was always curious to know if this book was going to take into account the other two previous books, if there was any connection between them and as interesting as it sounds there is no connection 😅

P.s: thank you to my boyfriend for giving me the trilogy 🥰🫂
